Successful Technology Days for Anders+Kern & Mitsubishi Electric
Anders+Kern (A+K) have recently completed a successful three-venue UK tour in which we joined forces with Mitsubishi Electric to showcase the latest AV solutions for facilities management, corporate and education users.
The Technology Days were held during March and April and hosted at Dynamic Earth (Edinburgh), Galpharm Stadium (Huddersfield) and Mitsubishi Electric headquarters (Hatfield).
The events provided trade and end user visitors with an opportunity to experience first hand the latest interactive, digital signage and display technologies of leading brands supplied by A+K, and see how these products could enhance their AV offering.
Among the products demonstrated at each of the tech days were the range of Mitsubishi professional LCD displays, including the most recent addition to the range, the touch screen interface option. The Mitsubishi 42", 52" and 65" displays were perfectly complimented by other solutions including the A+K INFO-LINE signage tower and the new Touch VeriTable from Smart Media Solutions (SMS).
Also exhibited was A+K’s range of digital signage solutions which range from A+K PADS Professional through to the latest product development; A+K PADS Standalone+. PADS digital signage allow users to incorporate virtually any type of multimedia content, including scrolling text, video, live news feeds or real-time data, into a visually appealing display on a single screen or across an entire network.
Other technologies on show included the PolyVision eno interactive whiteboard, the stylish and powerful Evoko room management interface and various SMS brackets and mounts.
Audio-visual and facilities management applications for Mitsubishi’s range of IP cameras were also highlighted, with demonstrations of how their powerful image analysis capabilities can be integrated into intelligent building systems. Mitsubishi’s latest professional projector line-up, including the 8000 Series large venue projectors were demonstrated and partnered with a Stewart Filmscreen projection surface to provide for stunning image results.
Reviewing the three events, John Gorman from Anders+Kern commented “The technology days have been well received and proven to be a great way to give people the chance to experience the capabilities of today’s products at first hand. We’re confident visitors have gone away with a better idea of how these technologies can be integrated and can make a dramatic difference in their working environments.”
All pre-registered visitors at the events were entered into a prize draw to win an apple iPad 2. Congratulations to the three winners: Derek Kemp, Steve Grylls and Ed Everard who will shortly be receiving their new tablets.
