The Standing Conference for Heads of Media Services (SCHOMS) is the professional body for heads of services working within UK Higher Education.

SCHOMS members lead and manage a diverse set of educational, media and institutional support services. They give strategic direction to support and promote excellence in teaching and learning practice.

This support ranges from the production of teaching materials to the Audio Visual technology deployed in teaching spaces. SCHOMS constantly evaluate emerging technologies and lead in the design of innovative teaching spaces.
