The A+K team atttended Integrated Systems Europe 2008, THE show for professional AV and electronic system integrators along with brand partners Stewart Filmscreen, Furman and SMS.
ISE 2007
30 January–1 February 2007, Amsterdam RAI, Netherlands
A+K representatives attended ISE in Amsterdam and supported Stewart Filmscreen and TLS at the event.
ISE 2007 is the essential show to attend for those seeking new ideas and to source the latest technologies in AV, installed audio, videoconferencing, control systems and digital display solutions. The show is viewed by many as the European meeting point for the AV Systems and Electronic Integration market.
BETT Show
10–13 January 2007, Olympia, London
A+K representatives attended BETT at London Olympia and supported Egan TeamBoard at the event where there was huge amounts of interest in Egan TeamBoard, A+K PADS Digital Signange and Egan Wall.
BETT is the world’s leading educational information & communications technologies (ICT) event, attracting 600 educational suppliers and over 28,000 visitors, and bringing together the global teaching and learning community for four days of innovations and inspirations.
2007 International CES
8–11 January 2007, Las Vegas
A+K representatives attended CES international in Las Vegas and supported Stewart Filmscreen and Vidikron at the event
The 2007 International CES features 2,700 exhibitors spanning every consumer electronics market – audio, video, digital imaging, mobile electronics, home networking, home cinema, wireless technology and more.
InfoComm 06
7–9 June 2006, Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida
Representatives from A+K attended the InfoComm 06 Exhibition between at Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida.
The event was the largest and most dynamic InfoComm ever with 420,000 sq ft of show floor exhibits, and was the perfect opportunity to see the newest technologies for audio, video, display, projection, lighting and staging, digital signage, conferencing, digital content creation and networking.
CEDIA Expo 2006
20–22 June 2006, ExCeL, London
A+K Home attended the CEDIA Expo 06 – the European Home Technology Show at ExCel London.
A+K Home focused on high-end Home Cinema products and exhibited products from Stewart Filmscreen, Vidikron and Furman. The A+K stand played host to such products as Stewart’s impressive CineCurve screen, Vidikron’s CineWide™ widescreen technology option with AutoScope™ along with superior power conditioning products from Furman, all showcased in an impressive blackened Home Cinema style environment.
Furman Sound
With over 30 years experience, Furman Sound has long been recognised as the world leader in power purification and protection with such innovations as Series Multi-Stage Protection (SMP) circuitry. The CEDIA market has recognised the staggering results achieved by providing audio/video equipment with pure, safe power conditioned by Furman units.
Stewart Filmscreen Corporation
A+K Home used the Expo to introduce the CineCurve screen and Stewart Media screen to the UK’s consumer market. The CineCurve has to be seen to be believed with its enhanced super-wide image, creating an increased sense of immersion. Also displayed was the new Electriscreen with Lutron Sivoia Quiet Electronic Drive (QED™) – the quietest screen on the market.
Vidikron
A+K Home showcased a selection of its high-end Home Cinema projectors along with Vidikron’s CineWide™ with AutoScope™ – the lens option which combines software and remote controlled motorized anamorphic optics to use the full pixel array on its LightAmp™ DMD™ chips, thereby producing a 2.35:1 image with enhanced resolution. Vidikron’s PlasmaView™ range will also be displayed.
A+K and Abstracta launch the ‘Magnificent 7’ (28–29 March 2006)
The two days which formed the ‘Magnificent 7’ Product Launch took place at A+K’s Head Office in Mildenhall. The newly refurbished A+K Showroom proudly displayed a unique range of AV presentation products which included writing/projection boards, storage cabinets and partition screens – all from Swedish AV furniture supplier Abstracta. A+K were delighted that Abstracta staff made the trip from Sweden to attend the event and were on hand to answer questions.
Both days were well attended at which many potential projects were discussed with both AV Dealers and their customers. The events gave A+K the perfect opportunity to really show how good these modern, stylish and functional products can look by demonstrating them ‘in situ’ which gave customers a true idea of how they look and perform. Extremely positive feedback was received from the dealers who attended.

A+K Product Launch Week (6-10 March 2006)
A+K PADS Digital Signage/Mitsubishi LCD monitors
A+K AV Distribution had a very successful Product Launch Week with many positive comments received from all delegates. Managing Director Derek Kuziw, who attended all of the events said ‘the week proved to be a great success with excellent attendance figures at all 3 venues’. The three venues at Hatfield, Manchester and Livingston were ideally located to attract as many dealers from throughout the UK as possible.
A+K would like to thank those dealers who took the time to attend and we hope you all enjoyed the day. For those dealers who were unable to attend we are pleased to say that A+K PADS Digital Signage was launched in style and the success of the events surpassed our expectations with many orders taken on the day.
Each attendee at the event was automatically entered into a prize draw to win a Mitsubishi Sublime photo printer which was donated by Mitsubishi. The lucky winners were:

ISE Expo 2006
1–3 February 2006, Hall 5 & 6, Brussels Expo, Brussels, Belgium
A+K attended the ISE Expo in Brussels between 1–3 February 2006.
At ISE 2006, industry movers exchanged new ideas and information about systems, innovations, products and developments. There was plenty to see and do at this year’s event with an array of seminars, training sessions, awards, demonstrations and networking activities.

CEDIA US Expo
A+K were pleased to be able to attend the Cedia US Expo between 9–11 September 2005. The event took place in Indianapolis and A+K staff were in attendance on both the Vidikron and Stewart Filmscreen stands.
A+K Home at CEDIA Expo 05
28 June 2005 saw the unveiling of the brand new A+K custom built exhibition stand at the CEDIA Expo 2005. We were pleased to see so many dealers at the 3 day event but for those who could not attend this is what you missed.
The A+K stand incorporated a dedicated Home Cinema area in which we showed the stunning Stewart Filmscreen/Vidikron combination. The stand also played host to representatives from Hitachi and Tributaries. The event was a great success with many positive comments received.
