A+K says farewell to Vidikron and hello to new opportunities
A+K Home has recently announced that it will no longer be a brand distributor of Vidikron products. The decision, taken by A+K, marks the end of a chapter which saw a trusted partnership develop which helped to raise brand awareness within the UK based Home Cinema channel and, subsequently, provided Home Cinema enthusiasts with high-end solutions. The success of the partnership was also marked by Vidikron when it named A+K as International Distributor of the Year in 2006.
A+K, who until recently, supplied Vidikron projectors, along with Plasma and LCD displays, has worked with Vidikron for several years and did not take the decision lightly. A+K is a forward-thinking organisation, strategically focused on progression. Pivotal to their continuing success as a company, A+K strive to deliver new and innovative product ranges which squarely meet the challenges set by the demands of Home Cinema customers. Needless to say, A+K Home will continue to move forward with providing the very best in Home Cinema solutions.
Looking forward to establishing new and developing existing relationships, this year has already seen A+K signing an exclusive agreement with Mitsubishi to distribute the HC5000 Full High Definition 1080p projector, an affordable product which brings a true cinema experience to a wider audience thus giving it the potential to set a new benchmark in the Home Cinema industry. A+K has also recently began to distribute the DLA-HD1; the new D-ILA High Definition projector from JVC. Both projectors have been highly praised in trade and consumer press and A+K is proud to be associated with the exciting new products and is already seeing orders.
A+K Home retains its enviable position at the forefront of Home Cinema product distribution as it continues to solely distribute Hollywood-quality projection screens from Stewart Filmscreen to the UK market. A+K works hand in hand with Stewart to consistently deliver the unmatched image accuracy and quality excellence synonymous with Stewart products.
