Mitsubishi launch HC6000, exclusively available from A+K
Mitsubishi Electric’s Visual Information Systems division, a world leader in the design and manufacture of high quality, high definition presentation and display products has today further committed to bring high quality home cinema solutions to the market with the introduction of the HC6000.
The HC6000 is the latest full 1080p (1920 x 1080) home cinema projector from Mitsubishi Electric that can be incorporated into the home easily using the latest Blu-ray or HD DVD technology. Using the latest generation C2FINE™ inorganic LCD panels that are more durable then previous versions, even toned images are produced with increased colour consistency. Two HDMI connectors allow for a true-digital-to digital link between the HC6000 and HD sources for a fantastic home cinema experience.
The HC6000 has a brightness of 1000 ANSI lumens and benefits from up to 5000 hours of lamp life (in eco mode) helping to keep overall running costs low. It is also quick and easy to install and maintain with a powered zoom, focus and lens shift, making installation very quick and easy and a side access lamp that makes replacements quick and simple even when ceiling mounted.
High quality viewing is achieved with the HC6000’s high contrast ratio of 13,000:1 and a newly developed auto iris function that ensures richer black tones are reproduced, maximizing image performance with precise picture quality and smooth transitions from black to light images even in the darkest scenes.
Designed with a new chassis for the circuit board and a new Sirocca fan system the HC6000 is one of the quietest home cinema projectors available with just 19Db for undisrupted viewing!
To further enhance picture performance the HC6000 utilises Reon-VX’s HQV processing for sharp detailed, high definition images and with advanced scaling per pixel, noise caused by compression is reduced.
The HC6000 will be available exclusively through A+K; Stephen Black Sales Director said “We are delighted to have been chosen as Mitsubishi’s exclusive partner once more for the launch of the new HC6000 Home Cinema Projector. Following our success with the Mitsubishi HC5000 model, we look forward to working closely with Mitsubishi aiming to meet and exceed our ambitions for sales of this product within the UK and satisfy customer demand for high quality home cinema solutions”.
Alistair Duthie, Divisional Manager said, “Mitsubishi has a strong commitment to bringing out affordable yet highly reliable home cinema projectors and with the availability of affordable Blu-ray and HD DVD players increasing, as well as HD channels and the introduction of HD camcorders, we believe now is the right time to consider investing in a high quality cinema projector for the home”.
