Avis Budget Group is a leading global provider of vehicle rental and car sharing services, operating three of the most recognised brands in the industry through Avis, Budget and Zipcar. The Bracknell office is the HQ for the international region, delivering a wide range of strategic initiatives and housing the Performance Excellence, Commercial, IT, Finance, HR, Fleet, Operations and Legal functions, amongst others. 

The Challenge
Avis required a meeting booking solution as part of their refurbishment programme throughout their offices. The refurbishment took place gradually (office by office) over a timeframe of 18 months. It was of importance to Avis that the system integrated effortlessly into their existing Microsoft Exchange environment and was user friendly to allow their busy teams to book meetings quickly and efficiently.

The Solution
The Evoko Room Manager was installed outside approximately 40 meeting rooms in total, all of which varied in size, from high-end boardroom to smaller break-out rooms. These intuitive displays allow for meetings to be booked by touch on the go by a glance at the screen’s LED illumination (red and green). Alternatively, rooms can be booked via the Outlook interface, simply by adding the room to your calendar appointment.
